Awards

The Institute on Diabetes and Obesity wishing to support and promote research in the area of diabetes, obesity and related metabolic disorders will present with an award three abstracts from those submitted in the IDOF 2010.

All abstracts will be anonymously reviewed while then the Award Committee, consisting of eminent scientists, will select three among the highest ranking abstracts irrespective of topic.

Award categories

1st prize: 2,000 €
2nd prize: 1,500 €
3rd prize: 1,000 €

The winners will be informed on July 15th, 2010 and they will be invited to present their paper in a 15-minute lecture and receive their award, during the Opening Ceremony of the IDOF 2010, on Thursday, October 21st.
